About the producer

Pangkhon is a single origin coffee from the Pangkhon district, Chiang Rai province. Produced by Beanspire Coffee, the coffee undergoes a unique processing method called the Kenya style washed process.

Once the ripe coffee is picked, its skin is removed and left overnight in a fermentation tank without any water. The next day, the coffee is washed and allowed to ferment in water for 12 hours, then it gets washed and soaked in water for another 12 hours before being dried on raised beds. The extended soaking process helps to reduce bitterness in the cup while adding a little fruitiness into the mix.

We roast this coffee with the goal to preserve all of its natural flavors as well as trying to achieve the ideal balance between acidity and sweetness. What you'll get with each sip is a coffee that's complex with a beautiful note of cranberry with candy aftertaste.
